The margin of victory is very low, if the margin of victory is what counts, still grasping and battling with sticks and guns he manages to win: Donald John Trump is indeed winning in the polls against Joe Biden, who’s tremendously bad at his job and unliked, but… only by a miserable well within the +-4% margin of error… it’s a +1,4% (?)
It’s not a landslide and this small power is reflected in Congress: he did kill FISA, the way he had asked in his Truth Social post but… only 19 House Republicans obeyed him, the others voted in favour and the move was tanked by the mass of Democrats who don’t like Trump and don’t like this reformed FISA too, and last but not least the reformed FISA bill was paired with a couple of other bills that were disliked by Democrats and “had to be” voted together with it.
Trump may still win but his margin of victory shrinks, he has more enemies so much that without RFK Jr he wins by sort of 0,8%. I hope he loses, nonetheless FISA may be reauthorised without Amendments, it depends a lot on the Democrats, not so much on Trump, Speaker Johnson said he’ll move on with the Democrats and he is not so scared of being ousted.
According to many, Johnson didn’t move really well to have this bill passed, because so few Democrats voted for the 56 Amendments reformed FISA simply because it was packed in the same rule vote with 3 “non starters” for Dems: Quote form NYP Via MSN
NYP: However, the measure (Reformed FISA, ed notes) was included in a rule vote with three other bills also seen as non-starters for Democrats, Punchbowl News reported, even as some like Progressive Caucus chairwoman Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) supported the Judiciary Committee’s FISA reforms.
Now, the Senate may have to take up its own FISA reauthorization without changes to current law — or else the Section 702 authorities will expire.

This is like telling the Democrats and pro Palestine Congresspeople “Mind your business, don’t pass it” it may be a move to make it pass un-amended, I mean, a bill like this you have to vote it alone, you don’t put anti-democrat legislation in it if you want the Dems to vote it. Glad to say that Marjorie Taylor Greene had voted it. Chip Roy & Co. didn’t.
