SOURCE The Hill: Seems like finally Republican Senators start questioning Trump’s position on FISA and his alexjonsian attitude towards the Agencies: they’re all bad, let’s shut them down, drain the Swamp.
Now Sen. Marco Rubio, Floridian Republican, has summarised the situation very dryly in a quote taken from the linked article: “If we can’t spy on foreign terrorists and foreign spies overseas, we’re out of the intelligence business.” Quite. Who cares? If the CIA and the FBI are demonic-satanic? The Alexjonisification of the Republican Party must stop, because it has become from marginal, anecdotical to mainstream inside the Party: Alex Jones and Steve Bannon are telling people constantly that FISA is used to spy on American citizens, Trump follows them, doesn’t follow Rubio, it’s becoming offensive. Yes, FISA can be amended but if you “kill it” you are actually prohibiting the CIA and the FBI from spying on foreigners. They cannot spy on Mexican cartels, Chinese Mafia, North Korean pimps in Washington who take orders from N Korean Government etc. And Trump? Unfortunately the fish smells from the head: Trump and Jared Kushner are in shady businesses overseas mainly with Israel and Saudi Arabia and don’t want to be spied by the CIA/FBI about their businesses so they go on telling people to close the Agencies, this cannot be amended.
Israel, put it in your mind, is a foreign Country like Russia and Iran, Col McGregor finally says it and says very plainly: the Jewish lobby is a foreign lobby, it is not a domestic lobby, listen to this:

Even if one or two dual Nationals or triple Nationals might have brought some good, people think of Murdoch – right or wrong – and his 3 passports and James Gorman 2 passports, the bulk of the dual/triple Nationals are a big problem. It’s clear that they take orders from Netanyahu: they grow in Israel, do the military service there, serve in their Secret Service and then they are shipped to Washington to work as Israeli-American lobbyists.
And. They may not want FISA for this reason. Come on, how many probability do you have to get caught talking to an Iranian or an Israeli or Russian spy by the FBI, why do they have to tell people that FISA is for spying on the Americans? Perhaps it’s Netanyahu’s stooges who don’t want to be caught talking to him and/or Ehud Barak per telephone cryptically saying “Open the borders of the USA, send a bitch to the DHS Secretary and then blackmail him” unless the DHS Secretray is a stooge of Netanyahu too.
The Deep State and the Swamp… till a certain point it is convenient to gather those votes and lose everything else, even dignity.
